National Service Scheme
National Service Scheme (NSS) is beneficial to both students as well as the society in various different means. NSS helps the student to grow individually and also as a group. It makes the students confident, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge about different people from different walks of life.

Our Mission
The National Service Scheme has been functioning with the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education. The motto “Not Me, but You” reflects the essence of democratic living and upload s the need for selfless service. NSS is thus an association dedicated to serving the society.
NSS Day
NSS was formally launched on 24th September 1969, the birth centenary year of the Father of the Nation. Therefore, 24th September is celebrated every year as NSS Day with various programmes and activities.
The club regularly conducts various activities for the welfare of society and the development of social responsibility among students. These activities include tree plantation programs to promote environmental protection and greenery, blood donation camps to support medical needs and save lives, and health care camps to create awareness about health and hygiene among the public. The club also actively participates in disaster management activities by providing support and assistance during natural calamities. In addition, awareness rallies are organized to educate people on important social issues, and programs related to Swachh Bharat are conducted to promote cleanliness and sanitation in the community. Through these regular activities, students are encouraged to develop a sense of service, responsibility, and commitment towards society.
Special Camps
Special camping’s organised generally on various developmental issues of national
importance. In the past the themes of the Special Camping Programmes have been 'Youth against
Famine', 'Youth against Dirt and Disease', 'Youth for Rural Reconstruction', 'Youth for EcoDevelopment' and 'Youth for Mass Literacy', 'Youth for National Integration & Social Harmony'.
'Youth for Sustainable Development with special focus on Watershed Management and
Wasteland Development.
Each year, a special camp is conducted for seven days by adopting a school. During this
camp, various programs are organized, including :
School Cleaning Efforts are made to clean and improve the hygiene of the adopted school.
Eye Camp Health camps focusing on eye care are arranged to benefit the local community.
Road Safety Awareness Rally Awareness rallies are conducted to educate the public about road safety measures.
Plastic Awareness Rally Programs are organized to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and promote eco-friendly alternatives.
