ELIGIBILITY CONDITION FOR ADMISSION TO UG PROGRAMMES

1 B.A. TAMIL A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and must pass Tamil as a Subject. A Special Preference should be given to Advance Tamil passed students as a subject
2 B.A. ENGLISH A pass in +2 examinations.
3 BBA., The Eligibitiy for a student to join BBA Course shall be a pass in H.Sc Examination. Preference Should be given for Commerce & Accountancy Streams.
4 B.COM., Higher Secondary pass with Commerce & Accountancy (Or) Higher Secondary with Commerce / Accountancy / Mathematics / Business Mathematics /Statistics / Computer Science / Corporate Secretaryship / Information Technology / Computer Applications/ Computer Technology as one of the subjects.(Those who have not studied Commerce or/and Accountancy should undergo a bridge course for a minimum duration of 15 days in that subjects).
5 B.Com (COMPUTER APPLICATION) Higher Secondary pass with Commerce & Accountancy (Or) Higher Secondary with Commerce / Accountancy / Mathematics / Business Mathematics /Statistics / Computer Science / Corporate Secretaryship / Information Technology / Computer Applications/ Computer Technology as one of the subjects.(Those who have not studied Commerce or/and Accountancy should undergo a bridge course for a minimum duration of 15 days in that subjects).
6 B.SC., COMPUTER SCIENCE & B.SC., COMPUTER SCIENCE (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA SCIENCE) Higher Secondary pass with Mathematics as one of the Subject. (Or) Higher Secondary pass with Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Technology / Business Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the courses and have not studied Mathematics should undergo a bridge course on Mathematics for a minimum duration of 15 days.
7 B.SC., COMPUTER SCIENCE (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA SCIENCE) Higher Secondary pass with Mathematics as one of the Subject. (Or) Higher Secondary pass with Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Technology / Business Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the courses and have not studied Mathematics should undergo a bridge course on Mathematics for a minimum duration of 15 days.
8 B.Sc. BOTANY Candidate for admission to the first year of the degree of Bachelor of Science Course shall be required to have passed the Higher secondary examination (Academic or vocational stream with Botany/Biology along with Chemistry under higher secondary board of examination Stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted by the Syndicate, Subject to such conditions may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for B.Sc. degree examination in Botany.
9 B.Sc. ZOOLOGY A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination in Academic or vocational stream with Biology (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent thereto.
10 B.Sc. MICROBIOLOGY A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination in any one of the Biological sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biology). (Academic/Vocational stream - Agri, Home Science, Poultry) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.
11 B.Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination in any one of the Biological sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biology). (Academic/Vocational stream - Agri, Home Science, Poultry) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.
12 B.Sc. PHYSICS Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Science – Physics shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.
13 B.Sc. MATHEMATICS A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with Mathematics (other than Business Mathematics) as one of the subjects.
14 B.Sc. CHEMISTRY A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with Mathematics (other than Business Mathematics) as one of the subjects.

(Professional Accounting).
4 M.Sc. COMPUTER SCIENCE A candidate who has passed in B.Sc Computer Science / B.C.A / B.Sc Computer Technology / B.Sc Information Science / B.Sc Information Technology / B.Sc Data Analytics / B.Sc Data Science / B.Sc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / B.Sc Cyber Security / B.Sc Internet of Things/B.Sc. Digital and Cyber Forensic Science degree of this University or any of the degree of any other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M.Sc Computer Science degree examination of this University after a course of study of two academic years.
