Anti-Drug Club
An Anti-Drug Club in college is a proactive student-faculty initiative designed to create a
drug-free campus, raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, and promote a healthy,
productive lifestyle among students. These clubs often work in collaboration with law
enforcement, government excise departments, and NGOs, serving as a critical support system
against the rising menace of drugs
The Anti-Drug Clubs have been formed in the all the schools and colleges, with at least
five volunteers led by a faculty designated as co-ordinator/in-charge of the Anti-Drug Club
Our Vision
To build a drug-free society by fostering awareness, responsibility, and resilience among individuals, especially youth, through education, empowerment, and community engagement.
Our Mission
To actively prevent and combat drug abuse through awareness campaigns, educational programs, peer support initiatives, and collaboration with communities and institutions, aiming to empower individuals—especially students, to make informed, healthy, and drug-free choices.
A college anti-drug club is crucial for fostering a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment by proactively combating substance abuse through awareness, education, and peer support. These clubs play a vital role in educating students about the severe physical, mental, and legal consequences of drug addiction, empowering them to make informed decisions and resist peer pressure. By organizing seminars, expert lectures, and creative campaigns, they create a strong "counter-narrative" against drug use on campus. Furthermore, these clubs promote a "drugfree" lifestyle, offering a supportive atmosphere where at-risk students can seek help without fear of judgment. Ultimately, they instill a sense of social responsibility and peer policing, ensuring a healthy environment where students can focus on their academic and personal growth.
