About the Department
The programme B.Sc Physics is established in 2015 in our college and aimed to concentrate on advance technology oriented teaching physics subject concepts. The Department of Physics has a rich history that spans several decades. Physics Programme begins a journey towards academic excellence and research advancements. Since its inception, the department has witnessed remarkable growth and development in various aspects. We offered Physics Projects have allowed faculty members and students to explore cutting edge research areas, contribute to scientific knowledge and make valuable advancements in their respective fields.
In addition to research, the department has consistently emphasized the importance of holistic education. To create awareness about current topics of global significance, the department organizes seminars, workshops, and conferences on a regular basis. These events provide a platform for researchers, academicians and students to exchange ideas, share knowledge and foster collaborations. To further enhance its educational offerings, the Department of Physics enters into the SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL SCIENCES in the academic year 2020-2021. This initiative aims to promote alternative education by providing a joyful and enriching experience that helps students unfold their innate potentials. The School of Physical Sciences serves as a testament to the department's commitment to innovation and excellence in education. Physics graduates have diverse career opportunities spanning research, technology, engineering, finance, and education, driven by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key roles include Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, Medical Physicist, and Renewable Energy Engineer. Industries hiring include aerospace, healthcare, defense, tech, and finance.
