Academic System

01

Semester System

The college follows a structured semester-based academic system as prescribed by the affiliating university. The academic year is divided into semesters, allowing for systematic and continuous learning. Each semester includes a well-defined schedule of academic activities such as lectures, practical sessions, internal assessments, and examinations. This system enables students to manage their studies effectively while ensuring regular evaluation and academic progression.

02

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of students’ academic performance. It combines both continuous internal evaluation and final external examinations to ensure a balanced and fair assessment system. Students are evaluated based on their understanding of concepts, application of knowledge, and overall academic performance. The evaluation process also encourages consistency, discipline, and active participation in academic activities.

03

Internal & External Assessment

Internal assessments are conducted periodically throughout the semester to monitor students’ progress. These include:

  •   Unit tests and model examinations
  •   Assignments and project work
  •   Seminars and presentations
  •   Attendance and classroom participation

This continuous evaluation helps identify strengths and areas for improvement, enabling timely academic support.

04

External Assessment

At the end of each semester, students appear for university examinations conducted by the affiliating university. These examinations assess the overall understanding and mastery of the subject. The combination of internal and external assessment ensures a transparent, comprehensive, and effective evaluation system that supports academic excellence and student success.
