About the Department

The Department is established from 2015 with one Under Graduate (UG) Programme named as B.Sc Computer Science which is a 3 Years Duration Programme. The Computer Science Department at Kavitha’s College of Arts & Science is formed to provide the best leading computer oriented programme across the world. The department continues to promote innovative research in the core Computer Science as well as multidisciplinary application areas. In 2019, PG Programme M.Sc. Computer Science is established. The Department possesses a well-equipped Computer Lab that boasts a network running on Windows 10.0 on the dedicated server that is attached/networked to 45 individual Core i5, 12th Generation client workstations for the students.


Practical Learning

  Attending Seminars, Workshops, Conferences at least 2 per semester is mandatory for students. Each Semester Industrial Visit to leading Software Companies like Accenture, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon will lead students to know about Software Industry in live manner.

  We are offering Internship at the end of Second Semester to the leading software companies for 15 DAYS and asked students to do a mini software project compulsory and also asked to submit the Report which will enhance student’s placement opportunities.

  We are offering MS Office & tally, Python, Full stack Development, Video Editing, Web Development Value Added Courses for the development of Stduents.

  The Department is aimed to develop Skills Hardware, Spoken English, Editing & Designing, and Software Installation in various OS Platforms for every student at the end programme.
