Kavitha’s College of Arts and Science, introduced the Commerce discipline in the year 2015. The commerce department opens wide opportunities for the students who look for the options outside the subject after the degree. The department encourages and motivates the students to pursue their higher education to take the competitive exams and professional courses. It seeks to enable them to handle the challenges of growth and transformation of businesses, through critical thinking, rational attitude and quality decision making. Vision  To empower all the students to start entrepreneurship by using their knowledge to stand himself / herself instead of department.Mission  To be the excellent commerce centre.  To train the students for according to their expectation to get required knowledge.

♦ LIC Awareness Programme was organized and addressed by chief guest Mr.V.Veeramani, Development officer, Rasipuram occupancies with Mr. Dharmalingam LIC ABM Rasipuram on 12.08.2016

♦ One day workshop program on “Personality Development” organized by Dr. K.Ramesh. Head and Professor, Department of Commerce Vivekananda College of Arts and Science, Vaiyappamalai on 02.09.2016

♦ Dr.A.Tamilarasu Associate Professor, Co-operative Accounting, Ambo University, Ethiopia has inaugurated Commerce Association Program and Delivered Guest lecturer on “Role of Commerce and Management in economic development” on 21.09.2016

♦ “Vigilance Awareness program” was arranged by Ministry of youth affaires and sports, Government of India, with and Mr. M.Thruneelakandan District youth coordinator, Namakkal on 05.11.2016

♦ “Saving Awareness Program was conducted by Dr. M. Mahadevan, SEBI resource person on 30.06.2017

♦ Dr D. Kumaresan, Principal of Laxminarayana Arts and Science College Dharmapuri delivered his Lecture on “GST” on 25.09.2017

♦ “Employment in banks” N.Chellamuthu, Bank of India Senior branch manager, delivered his idea to student for getting job opportunities in Banking Sector on 11.01.2018

♦ Dr.Mahadevan has delivered his ideas on SEBI Program to the students on 23.02.2018 for final year students “Placement training Programme” was organized by Mr. P. Prakash of MBITS Co, trained the students for achieving better job opportunity on 16.07.2018

♦ One day Workshop was organized on Topic “Startup opportunities as LIC advisor” and addressed by chief guest Mr.V.Veeramani, Development officer, LIC Rasipuram on 10.09.2018

♦ ‘One day Entrepreneurship Development programme” was organized by Mr.Al Sameer Hussain, Manager, South India Bank, Marappari delivered his valuable ideas to the students on 12.09.2018

♦ SHG Product expo was organized for the benefits of girls students, Dr.S.Gurunathan,Dean Department of Commerce given the special lecture on “Socio Economic empowerment of women in Namakkal District on 18.11.2019
