MISSION:
♦ To impart to the students the contemporary advancements in life sciences and to impart a global perspective and such skills among students that benefit humanity.
♦ To make awareness about problems affecting Animal and Human health and world challenging environmental issues.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Zoology was established in the year 2017. Zoology students will learn Scientific Classification of Animal kingdom and fundamentals in Zoology during first two years. They will be introduced frontiers areas such as Cell biology, Animal physiology, Genetics, Ecology, Evolution, Vermitechnology and Biotechnology etc. apart from regular courses they will be offered extra departmental courses and job oriented courses like Sericulture, Aquaculture, Poultry and Dairy sciences etc. Along with their regular courses, students will be given projects by that they can have collaboration with other institutions and industries.
