CGC – CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING CELL

Career Guidance and Counseling Cell [CGC] aim to provide assistance and advice to students to make them more powerful to build their own future. It helps the students realize their strengths and weaknesses by instilling self awareness, decision making skills, planning skills, personality development etc. It is functioning as a separate cell, with a well-equipped  air-conditioned conference training room and separate well-furnished rooms for mock interviews and counseling.Career Guidance and Counseling Cell [CGC] aim to provide assistance and advice to students to make them more powerful to build their own future. VISION:

To create awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and Abroad and to organize coaching classes on TNPSC, IBPS, etc., to the students.

MISSION:

1. To help students share knowledge about themselves by identifying skills, and interests.

2. To organize seminars on interview skills, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills, resume writing, analytical skills, quantitative ability, verbal and reasoning skills essential to all competitive exams.

3. To promote career guidance & counseling through lectures by senior corporate executives and visiting professors.

Programmes Organized:

♦ LIC awareness programme was conducted in our institution on 12th August 2016 by T. M. Narayanankutty, ABM – Mr. V. Veeramani, Development Officer – LIC, Rasipuram.

♦ TNPSC Awareness Program was conducted for our students in association with ICE Education, Namakkal [Franchise, Sankar IAS Academy] on 28th September 2016.

♦ India Post Awareness Program was conducted in our institution by Mr. A. Shankar, Marketing Executive, India Post, Namakkal on 5th October, 2016.

♦ Vigilance Awareness Program was conducted, followed by Inauguration of Youth Parliament in association with Ministry of Youty Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India on 5th November 2016.

♦ Road Awareness Program was conducted in our institution by Mrs. D. Pushaparani, Sub-Inspector of Police, Elachipalayam.

♦ TNPSC coaching classes was conducted in our institution by Mr. R. Balaji, Co-ordinator and Mr. M. Sureshkumar, Makkal Nala Arakattalai, Dindigul were taken classes on 4th January, 2017.

♦ On 13.09.2019, Career Guidance and Counseling Cell have arranged a one day Seminar on Business Skills for our third year students. Dr.K.Hari Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Sri Subramaniya Swami Govt.Arts College at Thiruthani. He was acted as a Chief Guest in this programme. 

♦ On 10.10.2019, Career Guidance and Counseling Cell have arranged an awareness programme about TNPSC success tips for our third year students. Mr.G.Arun, General studies trainer for UPSC Exam, Wings of Fire Academy of Civil Services at Erode.
