Department of Commerce with Computer Applications

The Commerce with Computer Application Department Started 2016-2017 to communicate in depth knowledge and professional skills importance and compulsory for handling the finance functions of business entities and corporate enterprises. Students with their acquired knowledge and skills find themselves well Equipped for the activities involving investment management, Accounting fund management, Project execution and management, Multinational financial management, Bank management etc. This course aimed at satisfying the need of human resource of corporate with sound accounting taxation and computer knowledge to supplement the professional accountants and taxation experts.

♦To educate the students to become excellent and ethical business consultants, through chartered accountants, entrepreneurs and business managers.

♦To establish close linkage with corporate and government so as toenhance the work experience of the students.

♦To develop the students to become socially responsible and globally employable through our course structure.

Events:

♦The Department of Commerce with Computer Application inaugurated the Association named as “CIFA” on 22.2.2017 and Dr K. Ramesh, Professor and Head PG & Research Dept of Commerce, Vivekanandha College for women, Tiruchengode has acted as a Chief Guest.

♦The Department of Commerce with Computer Application has visited SPB-Pallipalayam paper mills on 29.1.19 with our studends as a Industrial visit.

♦The Department of Commerce with Computer Application went to Salem steel plant with our students  visited on 27.01.2019 industrial visit.

♦Our students went ti kerala industrial tour as  on 13.08.2019

♦Our students have participated in Periyar university inter collegiate athletic meet on 12,14 and 16 in OCT 2016-2017.

♦The Department of Commerce with Computer Application students have participated in sports development authority of Tamilnadu state games for chief ministers trophy swimming held on 12.01.2017

♦Our students have participated in district level competitions inter KHELO India 2016-2017 on 08.01.2017.

♦Our department students also participated in Periyar University tournaments of cricket on 17.09.2019.

♦The Department of Commerce with Computer Application Students participated inter department competition such as essay writing, poet writing and drawing held in our college on 17.09.2019.
