NSS – National Service Scheme
The main aim of National Service Scheme is personality development through social service. This program is to inculcate the social welfare thoughts in the students, and to provide service to the society without any prejudice. The motto of the National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) is “Not Me, Not You, and But We”. It underlines the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole.
Camps are conducted annually. Camps typically last between a weeks to ten days. These activities are fully funded by our management. Camps are usually organized in rural villages or suburbs situated in and around Tiruchengodu.
Our student volunteers are involved in activities such as
1. Cleaning
2. Afforestation
3. Stage shows or Procession creating awareness on social problems, education, cleanliness etc.
4. Inviting doctors for health camps.
