The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 1999 with an intake of 90 students. Over the years the department has steadily grown. The department has been approved by the DOTE in Chennai and AICTE in new Delhi. The well qualified and experienced faculties of this department are committed to achieve excellence in academic program. The department has good infrastructure. It regularly organizes programs like Seminar, Workshop, Guest Lecture, Faculty Development programs, etc. Every year the EEE students association is organizing a State Level Symposium, name ABLAZE, to motivate the students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The department periodically conducts value added course and training program for students to improve their technical skills in practical as well as theory. We have close tie up with few leading industry like Energy Control Corporation in Coimbatore and Eureka Forbes, Tirupur division to provide recent industrial exposure to students and recruit them.
