Department of physics was established in the academic year (2015-2016)

We have conducted the following events:

♦ We have conducted a special lecture programme on the topic of Physics learning on 07.09.2016 by Dr.V. Velusamy M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst.professor, Department of physics, Arignar Anna Govt College, Namakkal.

♦ We have arranged a special lecture programme on the topic of Recent trends in Physics on 07.02.2018 by Dr.P. Thirumoorthy  M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst.professor, Department of Electronics and Communication,  Govt  Arts College, Dharmapuri.

♦ We have conducted a Guest  lectureprogramme on the topic of Recent trends inAstrophysics on 01.10.2018 by Dr.P.Duraisamy  M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst.professor, Department of physics, ThiruvalluvarGovt Arts College, Rasipuram.

♦ We have organized a Guest lecture programme on the topic of “ Recent trends in Energy studies” on 31.07.2019 by Dr.P.Maadeswaran M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst.professor, Department of Energy Studies ,Periyaruniversity,Salem.

Our Physics Department faculty member is presented / participated the following events:

♦ Mr. T. Logeswaran M.Sc.,M.Phil.,Ph.D., Asst.professor, Department of Physics, KCAS, Vaiyappamalai has attended a two days faculty training programme held on 15th and 16th November 2018 at Bharathiar Arts and Science college for Women, A ttur Organized by Periyar University, Salem – 11.

♦ Mr.T.Logeswaran M.Sc.,M.Phil.,Ph.D.,Asst.professor, Department of Physics,KCAS, Vaiyappamalai has Participated one day research Methodology Program to Research scholar on 28.11.2019 at Periyar University, Salem – 11.
